  • Created the CLEAN Program, a program that replaces jail time with court-directed community service, allowing non-violent offenders to maintain their jobs, housing, and families while also serving the community. Through this program the county has been provided over 13,000 hours of labor, saving the county over $198K in costs while also giving our citizens a second chance.

  • Modernized the Courthouse and Administration Buildings' heating and cooling systems, creating more comfortable and efficient buildings while reducing maintenance and costs.

  • Collected over $13,000,000 in FEMA disaster recovery reimbursements for flood damages to county roads and bridges.

  • Contracted to buy natural gas directly from the suppliers, cutting out the middleman, saving over $5,000 per year

  • Converted all primary lighting to LED, paying for the retrofit in 8 month of savings

  • Put lights in stairwells and bathrooms on motion detectors, saving money by turning down or off when not in use
